As a potential client, we require the following from you:
Sign a service agreement with us. Contact us via email or phone for a consultation and to sign an agreement.
Familiarize yourself with the content of your customized policy and procedure binders we will ship to you in coordination with you. We require you to study them and master them before you apply for certification with the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Licensure & Certification (OLC). Once your application is processed and approved (guaranteed), the OLC will require you to send them a letter or notification of readiness for inspection. Once the letter of readiness is received, a medical facilities inspector from OLC will contact you to schedule an initial inspection of your organization’s policies and procedures as well as your readiness to operate as a start-up or Home Care Organization in Virginia; see the “inspection day” tab for detailed listing of all the deliverables. We will help you from the initial application through the inspection and licensure; again, our business relationship ends once you get your license to operate. We will be with you every step of the way until your license is issued (guaranteed).
Realize that, due to the proprietary nature of the information contained in our customized and comprehensive licensure or certification materials, including the policies and procedures; they are copyrighted; meaning, you are not permitted to resell or re-distribute the licensure materials we ship to you either physically or electronically. The material must be solely used for the operation of your organization.
Get your Commonwealth of Virginia Certificate or Article of Incorporation ready from the Virginia State Corporation Commission – we may assist you get this certificate.
Get your organization website ready – we may assist you via a third-party to get your website set up.
When will I get my license?
Due to other priorities within OLC, it may take up to 2-6 months or more from the date the OLC receives and approves the initial application. Remember, the business cannot begin providing services as a skilled or non-skilled until the license is issued.
